Perhaps my googling skills just failed me but I haven’t found anything of the sort when I searched for it. Maybe deleting absolutely all network connection data with a terminal command or just simply deleting a file might fix the issue. I tried deleting the connection from the System Settings Module, several times, but it didn’t fix anything. Now to the important part - I think I know what’s going on, I did use absolutely the same WiFi SSID with the other router as the SSID I’m using for the 2.4Ghz connection right now - maybe, with no better way of saying this coming to mind, there is some left-over data from the old connection and that’s what’s causing the errors. I looked in the logs and it just says association timed out reason=conn failed. After the 3rd time it asks for a password or so, it stops and says “wireless interface - no secrets were provided”. I can guarantee that it’s not a hardware problem, and that it’s also not a problem from the way that the WiFi is configured - as both connections are nearly identical in terms of how they’re configured. Apart from the SSID and frequency, both connections have the same configuration - despite that, Manjaro can only connect to the 5Ghz connection - when I attempt to connect to the 2.4Ghz one, it’s always stuck at “configuring interface” and asks me for the password every minute or so (I triple checked to see if it was the correct password, and it was). I have recently replaced my router with one that has both 5Ghz WiFi and 2.4Ghz (both “working” at the same time). TL DR - how can I delete all network connection data from the system(not from the “System Settings Module” - I already tried that)? UPDATE - Tried wiping all the data.
